This year may be one for the record books for the annual Martin Luther King Junior Parade. Bladen County Commissioner and community leader, Arthur Bullock, coordinates the big event each year with great success, but this year seems to have been the largest one yet.

Dedicated Soulz MC, a local Christian motorcycle club focused on empowering lives of individuals and enriching communities had hundreds of motorcycle riders in the parade. The parade also showcased numerous cars belonging to multiple car clubs.

The parade entries varied in a large variety. There were floats, characters, elected officials and citizens running for public office in addition to the dressed up cars and motorcycles. Hundreds of people flooded the streets in downtown Elizabethtown celebrating the holiday in remembrance of one of the most beloved civil right activist in history, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
