Update May 20, 2021 – REWARD

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office is offering a REWARD in the homicide of Germaine Trayvon Menser who was killed on May 7, 2021 at Oakdale Homes in Clarkton. The REWARD is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder.

On Friday, May 7, 2021, at approximately 9:00 PM, the Bladen County sheriff’s office responded to a call at Oakdale homes in Clarkton in reference to a shooting.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that a subject had been shot multiple times and deceased at the scene.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office conducted a crime scene search and interviewed potential witnesses in the area.

The victim Germaine Trayvon Menser, 25 years of age from South College Street in Clarkton, NC.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, May 10, 2021. The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Germaine Trayvon Menser, 25 years of age from South College Street in Clarkton, NC. According to social media posts, Menser, also known as “Big Man”, was a loved father and family member.

The cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds, according to the report.

The homicide appears to be drug-related. The investigation is continuing. If anyone has any information about this case, they are asked to contact the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office at 910-862-6960.
