The Bladen County Division on Aging Senior Center in Elizabethtown is hosting Black History Month celebrations all month long. Allie Hopgood was presented with the Brown’s Creek A.M.E Zion Church 2015 Black History Distinguished Service Award. The plaque said, “Servant of God In Recognition of your Leadership and Commitment to Excellence, at the Paul Brown Center from the Brown’s Creek A.M.E. Zion Church.
Hopgood said, “To God be the glory, for the glory, for the great things He has done.”
