StrikeOut

Bladen County Relay For Life is set for this Saturday from 11 am until 11 pm at the Elizabethtown Middle School Field. “Our slogan this year is ‘Stricking Out Cancer’, because that is exactly what we want to do,” Jessica Inman, Co-Chair of this year’s event said.

Thus far, there are 34 teams signed up with 375 participants raising over $82,600 for Relay For Life according to Jessica. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all.
