Bladen Community College Foundation creates a new spring special event, GALA Dinner To Go, to be held Saturday, March 13, 2021. Many community fundraising events have been canceled due to the pandemic and the Foundation’s annual event “Sunset and Vine” was one of them. In the spirit of the challenge and with compliance of COVID-19 guidelines in mind, GALA Dinner To Go was born.
GALA Dinner To Go leaves to one’s imagination and preferences on how to participate safely and at home. The innovative concept allows you to pre-order your meal, pick it up, take it home, cook it to your liking while supporting a great cause! You may choose from three entrees, accompanied by a salad, baking potato, vegetable, roll, beverage and dessert. Recipes, marinades, and condiments will be provided. For a small additional fee, a variety of wines from Cape Fear Winery, Sutter Home, and popular beers can be added to your order. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online.
