The Town of Elizabethtown has been out lighting up the night’s sky with Christmas lights. Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce President Jennifer Leggett reminded people about the Elizabethtown Christmas Parade scheduled for Sunday, December 1 in downtown Elizabethtown. If you are interested in participating in the parade, there is still time. Here is the application: Christmas Parade Form.

This year, Bladen County’s talented twins, Farrell and Larrell Murchison are the Grand Marshalls of the event, according to the Elizabethtown Marketing Director, Terri Dennison. The two will be with Santa Claus after the parade at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market signing footballs. Some downtown merchants will be open for business on the Sunday of the parade as well.

Bladenboro Mayor Rufus Duckworth sent in a photo featured below from the Town of Bladenboro announcing the town will be celebrating Christmas. The Bladenboro Christmas Parade will be held in downtown Bladenboro on Saturday, December 7th.
