Another restaurant is heading to Elizabethtown, according to officials with Clark Brothers Inc.
The franchise company will construct a new facility on the lot that once housed Cape Fear Bar-B-Que and Chicken at 330 S. Poplar Street in Elizabethtown. The building that housed the bar-b-que and chicken restaurant was demolished to make way for a new facility.
David Clark, of Clark Brothers Inc., said, “We have signed a lease with Bojangles.”
He said the company now has a 45-day period to perform “due diligence.” Due diligence is a real estate term meaning the company can use the time period to review documents, perform any necessary calculations, inspect the property and review any other information pertinent to the purchase.
“If their due diligence proves positive, we’ll have a Bojangles,” said Clark.
The construction date will be announced later.
