DUBLIN, NC -Bladen Community College is pleased to offer a short-term training opportunity, at
no cost, for those seeking to enter the field of client care services.

Pre-requisite “Working Smart” training starts on Tuesday January 21 st at 5:30 PM on the main
campus of BCC in room 207, building 2. Once the twenty-four hour training is finished, students
can attend the “Client Service Training.”

Client Service Training starts on Tuesday February 4th and runs each Tuesday and Thursday until
April 28th and includes five Saturday sessions as well.

There is a wide variety of classes offered by the Bladen Community College Continuing
Education Department during the spring semester. Working Smart consists of soft skills that
focus on leadership, teamwork, communication, and work ethic.  Working Smart is an employer
driven program that equips job seekers with important those soft skills needed in today’s
workplace and life.

Client Service training is a course developed to prepare individuals to work in an entry-level
position as a Client Service Associate. There are a number of client service centers within the
region that regularly recruit individuals who are equipped with essential workplace readiness
skills needed to thrive in this type work environment. Students will explore concepts of client
service employment with an emphasis on professionalism, communication skills, computer
basics, care center environment, best practices, employment techniques, and completing a job
application or resume.

In just a few short weeks, students will be ready to pursue a job in the exciting and expanding
field of client care services!

Registration fee waivers and scholarships may be available to qualified applicants making this
great opportunity available at no cost!
