Allayah Jarmon attended the 109th annual Conference for NC Association of County Commissioners as a youth delegate. The conference is held in Winston-Salem from Aug. 11-14.
She is the daughter of Angeline Powell and John Jarmon. Allayah attended Booker T Washington and Clarkton School of Discovery. She is now attending Columbus Career and College Academy in Fair Bluff.
This conference for the youth was highlighting Youth in Transition. In partnership with the Forsyth County Department of Social Services, the Youth in Transition initiative works to build a conditional support system to improve outcomes for these young adults in areas of permanence in the community, education, employment, housing, and mental health, financial capability, and social capital
