Jazmine KempElizabethtown native Jazmine Kemp threw in 10 points Saturday, but her UNC-Pembroke Lady Braves dropped a 50-46 Peach Belt Conference decision to visiting Flagler.

Kemp also grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 2 assists and came up with 2 steals. The 5-10 senior tipped in her first basket with 3:01 remaining in the first half to pull the Lady Braves to within 22-20.

The East Bladen grad tipped in another basket in the second half, then dropped in a lay-up to put the Lady Braves on top 36-35 with 12:10 left to play.

Kemp popped in a jump shot then canned 2 foul shots with 4:22 remaining to stretch the UNC-Pembroke lead to 44-40. Flagler scored the next 9 points to take the victory.

The Lady Braves travel to USC-Aiken Wednesday for a 5:30 game.
