Rifle Drill TeamThe John L. Foye Rifles drill team competed at the 18th Annual Hoke County High School drill meet on 28 March 2015.  The JLF Rifles is the Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy’s drill team.  The meet was composed of 14 schools from all over North Carolina.  The team competed in seven events.   Regulation Squad Armed and Exhibition Squad Armed were commanded by C/SFC Iyana McAllister of Elizabethtown.   Regulation Squad Unarmed was commanded by C/MSG Chaity Baxley of White Oak.  C/SGT Elijah Hayes of Carvers Creek performed Exhibition Individual.   The team finished in second place  in Exhibition Duet, third place in Color Guard, and third place in Individual Armed Regulation. All three events were commanded by C/MSG Stanari Ballard of Elizabethtown.  This was the first time the team placed in multiple events this year.   The JLF Rifles is the PBLA drill team.
