Sophomore Michael Walter batted 4-4 to lead East Bladen’s jayvees to a 4-3 Four County Conference baseball victory at Midway Tuesday.
Freshman Devan Stocks cracked 2 hits in 3 at-bats for the winners, and Quinton Bedsole connected for 2 hits in his 4 trips to the plate. Freshman Ty Watkins batted 1-3 for East.
Watkins started on the mound and worked the first 3 innings for the Eagles. Freshman Xavier Wooten came on in relief to pitch the final 4 innings for East Bladen
The Eagle jayvees improved to 4-3 in the league and 6-4-1 overall.
