ST PAULS – West Bladen’s Knights opened the junior varsity baseball season with a 7-1 non-conference victory at St. Pauls Tuesday.
Nolan Bryant picked up the pitching victory for the Knights and slammed a double. Junior catcher Jalen Drew also hammered a double.
Sophmore Dalton Pait knocked in 2 runs with a single, and sophmore Brandon Strange and freshman Dawson Bryan smacked singles for the Knights.
Coach Todd Pait’s Knight jayvees travel to South Robeson Wednesday for a 4 p.m. game.
