ELIZABETHTOWN – Whiteville rallied from a 4-2 deficit to post a 6-4 victory over East Bladen Thursday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee baseball action.

The Eagles took a 2-0 first inning lead when Jay McKoy and Tyler Hill drew walks and both advanced on passed balls. Jay McKoy darted home on a wild pitch, and Dylan Fine lifted a sacrifice fly to left field that scored Hill.

Whiteville scored single runs in the second and third innings to tie the game 2-2.

Hill reached base on an error in the Eagle third inning, and Raymond Autry slammed a double. Dylan Fine belted a single that scored Hill, and Rasean McKoy hammered a double that scored Autry for a 4-2 lead.

The Wolfpack scored two runs in the fourth inning to knot the score 4-4 then tacked on two more runs in the fifth to pull out the win.

Rasean McKoy and Autry walloped doubles to lead the Eagle hitters. Jay McKoy, Dylan Fine and Brandon Fine contributed one hit each. Hill scored twice, and Jay McKoy and Autry scored one run each. Dylan Fine drove in two runs, and Rasean McKoy drove in one run.

Jacob Priest started on the mound for the Eagles and pitched four innings and allowed four runs on four hits and five walks while striking out two. Makhi Cromartie pitched the final two innings and gave up two runs on two walks.
