DUBLIN – Clinton jumped out to leads of 15-4 and 27-17 en route to a 53-33 Four County Conference jayvee boys basketball victory over West Bladen Thursday night.

Tre’shawn Ballard dropped in a first quarter basket, and Jaheim Lesane canned a pair of free throws for the only Knight points in the first quarter.

Lesane popped in a basket and 2 more free throws in the second quarter, and freshman Logan West fired in a 3-point shot. Sophmore Kerron Washington and Jason Moore threw in a basket each, and freshman Tyre Boykin sank 2 free throws to keep West Bladen within 27-17 at halftime.

Boykin pumped in a basket and 2 free throws in the third quarter, and Washington nailed a 3-point shot. Ballard and Nathan Brisson netted a basket each to keep West Bladen within 43-28 at the break.

Kristawn Baldwin delivered a 3-point shot and another basket for the only Knight points in the final quarter.

Boykin and Lesane topped the West Bladen scoring with 6 points each. Washington and Baldwin followed with 5 points each, and Ballard finished with 4 points.

The Knights, now 2-4 in the Four County, will travel to Union Friday for a 4:30 game.
