ELIZABETHTOWN – Tayshaun Berkeley and Corey McKoy combined for 14 points Tuesday night to lead East Bladen to a 31-21 jayvee boys basketball victory over East Columbus in Three Rivers Conference action.
 
Berkeley pumped in a pair of first period baskets, Corey McKoy nailed a 3-point shot, and Juwan Baldwin added a basket as the Eagles grabbed a 9-5 lead.
 
The Eagle defense completely shutout the Gators in the second quarter as the East Bladen lead grew to 16-5 at halftime. Lefrederick Wooten fired in a 3-point shot in the period for the Eagles, and teammates Allen Owens and Rasean McKoy sank free throws.
 
Corey McKoy bombed in another 3-pointer in the third quarter, and Baldwin and Charles Brown threw in baskets to keep the Eagle lead at 24-15 at the quarter break.
 
Berkeley dropped in two more baskets in the final period and led the Eagle scoring with 8 points. Corey McKoy followed with 6 points, and Baldwin finished with 5 points.
 
The Eagle jayvees travel to West Bladen Friday for a 4:30 game.
