TEACHEY – Freshman Majuan McKoy poured in 19 points to lead East Bladen’s jayvee boys to a 41-39 Four County Conference basketball victory over Wallace-Rose Hill.
Majuan McKoy pumped in 3 baskets and a free throw in the opening quarter. Byron Bowen dropped in a basket and a free throw, and sophmore Shy Pone hit a free throw as the Eagles racked up 12 points.
The Eagles were held to only a basket and a free throw by Majuan McKoy in the second period.
Anthony Wooten tossed in 2 baskets in the third quarter, and Pone and freshman Tayshaun Berkely added a basket each.
Majuan McKoy fired in 4 baskets and a free throw in the final quarter as the Eagles exploded for 18 points to pull out the victory.
Pone bombed in a 3-point shot in the period, Bowen and Wooten netted a basket each, and freshman Jordan Robinson sank 2 free throws.
Wooten finished with 7 points, Pone followed with 6 points, and Bowen totaled 5 points.
Coach Greg High’s Eagles improved to 8-3 in Four County play and 13-5 overall.
