ELIZABETHTOWN – Fairmont raced to an 19-2 first quarter lead en route to a 57-23 Three Rivers Conference jayvee boys basketball victory over East Bladen Wednesday night.

Nazire Smith fired in a 3-point shot, 3 other baskets and 3 free throws to lead the Eagles with 12 points. Freshman Malcolm Bolden bombed in a 3-point shot and added 2 free throws to finish with 5 points for East.

East Bladen will entertain Whiteville after the exam break on January 17.
