East Bladen’s jayvee boys sliced a 28-point Heide Trask lead down to 12 points in the final quarter, but the Titans held on for a 77-62 Four County Conference basketball victory at East Tuesday night.

Trask led 64-38 after 3 quarters, but the Eagles poured in 24 points in the final period. Center Zaire Turner-Dobson worked the paint for all of his 6 points in the quarter, and guard Darrell Banks bombed in a pair of 3-point shots in the period.

Freshman Greyson Heustess nailed a 3-point shot and scored 5 points in the fourth frame. Sadique Ingram connected on a 3-ball in the quarter, and Anthony Wooten and Xavier Wooten added a basket each.

Ingram buried a pair of 3-balls in the second quarter, knocked down another 3-pointer in the third quarter and led the Eagles with 16 points. Banks connected on four 3-point shots and finished with 12 points.

Heustess pumped in a 3-pointer in the third quarter and totaled 10 points for the game. Anthony Wooten followed with 9 points.

The Eagles will host Wallace-Rose Hill Thursday night.
