BLADENBORO – Whiteville defeated West Bladen 38-34 Friday night in Three Rivers Conference jayvee boys basketball action.

Jadacus Register fired in all 11 of his points for the Knights in the second half. Register tossed in a pair of third period baskets, then drained a 3-point shot, another basket and 2 free throws in the final quarter.

Javonta Matthews dropped in a pair of first quarter baskets for the Knights then bombed in a 3-point shot and another basket in the second half to finish with 9 points.

Donovan Stone sank 6 free throws in the second quarter and a basket in the third period to total 8 points for West Bladen. Center Lance Soumahoro threw in a basket and a free throw. Ricky Brisson sank 2 free throws, and Jerry Kercius made one.

West Bladen will travel to West Columbus Tuesday night.
