ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen jumped out to a 2-0 first half lead en route to a 3-2 non-conference jayvee boys soccer victory over Lumberton Thursday.
Freshman Stephen Allen fired in the first Eagle goal, and sophmore Sulamon Algozy knocked in the second East Bladen goal for a 2-0 lead that held up until halftime.
Freshman Sam Inscoe scored the clinching goal with 5 minutes left in the game.
Sophmore Victor Garcia was credited with 5 saves in goal for the Eagles.
The East Bladen jayvees improve to 4-3-2 for the season.
