CLINTON – Clinton scored the deciding touchdown in the final minute Thursday night to snap a 14-14 tie and defeat East Bladen 22-14 in Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee football action.

Freshman Keyshawn Kemp dashed 10 yards for the 1st Eagle touchdown, and Semaj McRae powered into the end zone from 2 yards out for the other East Bladen TD. Cole Butler caught a 2-point conversion pass from Aidan Hargrove.

The Eagles lost a fumble at the Clinton 5 yard line earlier in the game that ended another East Bladen scoring opportunity. “We had them, we had our chances,” said East Bladen Coach Cory Corbett. “The guys played good, played hard.”

East Bladen, now 1-1 in SAC-7 play and 2-4 overall, will host West Bladen Thursday night.
