ELIZABETHTOWN – Sophomore Timothy McLean dashed 50 yards for the go-ahead touchdown as East Bladen defeated St. Pauls 30-26 on Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference jayvee football action.

St. Pauls scored to take the lead with 1:40 left to play. The Eagles flew down the field in 2 plays with McLean breaking free on the touchdown run. Eagle sophomore Zavarion Palmer intercepted a Bulldog pass with 14 seconds remaining to clinch the victory.

McLean supplied the bulk of the Eagle scoring by running for 3 touchdowns. Sophomore Cory Ballard scored the other East Bladen touchdown.

The Eagles improved to 5-1 in Three Rivers Conference play and 6-2 overall.
