ROSE HILL – Sophmore Eric Chancy scored 3 touchdowns Thursday night to lead East Bladen to a 30-0 Four County Conference jayvee football victory over Union.

Chancy dashed into the end zone from 5 yards out for the Eagles’ only touchdown of the first half. Chancy also carried into the end zone for the 2-point conversion and an 8-0 lead.

“We only had 3 possessions in the first half,” said East Bladen Coach Ritchie Priest. “Both teams looked like they hadn’t played in several weeks.”

Chancy bolted 10 yards for the Eagles first touchdown of the second half then ran the conversion again for a 16-0 lead.

Freshman quarterback Jordan Robinson hurled a 50-yard touchdown pass to Chancy for the third Eagle touchdown and a 22-0 lead.

Sophmore Wilson Bolden scored the final East Bladen touchdown with about 5 minutes left on a 2-yard run. Sophmore Dayveon Washington ran the 2-point conversion for the final 30-0 margin.

“The defense played real good ,” said Coach Priest. “The offense moved the ball but made some mistakes.”

The Eagles improved to 5-1 with the victory and will host West Bladen Thursday night.
