CERRO GORDO – Sophmores Jordan Robinson and Lawson Hester combined for five touchdowns Thursday night to lead East Bladen to a 41-0 Three Rivers Conference jayvee football victory over West Columbus.

Robinson returned a punt 65 yards for the first East Bladen touchdown. Sophmore Kasey Price carried into the end zone for the 2-point conversion and an 8-0 lead.

Hester bolted 20 yards for the second Eagle touchdown and a 14-0 lead. Robinson rammed into the end zone from 2 yards out, and freshman Zach Meares kicked the extra point for a 21-0 lead.

Hester banged into the end zone from 5 yards out for his second touchdown of the night. Meares tacked on the extra point for a 28-0 lead.

Robinson dashed 30 yards for his third touchdown of the night. Meares added the conversion to grow the Eagle lead to 35-0.

Sophmore Orlando Murchison raced ten yards for the final East Bladen touchdown with 5:16 left in the third period. The extra point was blocked and the 41-0 Eagle lead started the continuous running clock.

The Eagle defense played well holding the Vikings to negative total yards and no first downs.
