RED SPRINGS – Kewone Maynor ran for 3 touchdowns Thursday night to lead East Bladen to a 42-6 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee football victory over Red Springs.
Sophomore Darius Williamson ran for an Eagle touchdown, and quarterback Aidan Hargrove threw a touchdown pass to Malikah Moore. Jalil Hayes returned an interception of a Red Devil pass for a touchdown.
Moore, sophomore Natoren Corbett and I’Keir Murchison all scored 2-point conversions on runs. Murchison also had a quarterback sack.
The Eagles improved to 2-0 in conference play and are 2-2 overall. The East Bladen jayvees are scheduled to play at St. Pauls next Thursday.
