TEACHEY – Wallace-Rose Hill outscored East Bladen 46-24 Thursday night in the nonconference jayvee football opener for both teams.

Sophomore Timothy McLean rushed for over 100 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the East Bladen attack. McLean broke loose for touchdowns on runs of 5, 15 and 60 yards. Sophomore Cory Ballard scored the other Eagle touchdown on a 5-yard run.

The Eagles had one drive stopped at the 5-yard line and fumbled away another scoring chance at the goal line.

“We moved the ball up and down the field,” said Eagle Coach Ritchie Priest. “We just couldn’t stop them.” Neither team was forced to punt in the game.

The Eagle jayvees will host Clinton on Thursday.
