ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen rode an 8-3 closing spurt to a 25-24 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over East Columbus Friday.

The Lady Eagles had grabbed a 10-5 first quarter lead, but the Lady Gators rallied to tie the game 12-12 at halftime. East Columbus built a 21-17 lead at the third quarter break, before the winning East Bladen rally.

Ronkira Lennon fired in 8 points to lead the Lady Eagle scoring. Teammate Aaniyah Jackson finished with 5 points, and Azariah Rhodie followed with 4 points.

Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles will close out their season Friday at rival West Bladen.
