BURGAW – Freshman Izzy Smith and Asia Munn combined for 22 points to lead East Bladen’s jayvee girls to their first win of the season 29-13 over Four County Conference foe Pender Tuesday.
Izzy Smith topped the Lady Eagle scoring with 12 points, Munn was right behind her in the scoring column with 10 points.
The Lady Eagles jumped out to a 7-2 first quarter lead and widened the gap to 15-6 at halftime. East Bladen led 23-10 after 3 periods.
Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Friday for another Four County game.
