WHITEVILLE – Aaniyah Jackson and Ronkira Lennon tossed in 9 points each to lead East Bladen to a 34-12 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over Whiteville Tuesday.

The Lady Eagles raced to a 10-2 first quarter lead and padded that margin to 18-7 at halftime. A 9-0 third quarter blitz stretched the East lead to 27-7.

Shanell McMillian pumped in 6 points for East Bladen.

Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles will host South Columbus Friday.
