FAIRMONT – Destiny Melvin fired in 18 points to lead Fairmont to a 36-8 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over West Bladen Friday.
Xia Phair threw in baskets in the first and second quarters and led the Lady Knights with 4 points. Freshman Whitney McLean and Anniya Phillips dropped in third quarter baskets in the third quarter.
The Lady Knights, now 3-6, will host Red Springs Tuesday night.
