A 7-2 third quarter spurt rallied Midway to a 24-19 Four County Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over visiting East Bladen Tuesday at Spivey’s Corner.
Deija Edwards poured in all 13 of East Bladen’s first half points as the Lady Eagles edged in front 13-11 at halftime. Edwards bombed in East Bladen’s only 3-point basket of the game in the second period.
After Midway went up 18-14 at the third quarter break, Edwards tossed in 3 more points in the final quarter to finish with a game-high 16 points for East Bladen.
