Midway outscored East Bladen 12-6 in the fourth quarter to claim a 34-27 Four County Conference jayvee girls victory over the Lady Eagles Thursday at East.

The teams battled on even terms as the Lady Raiders led 9-7 at the first quarter break and 13-11 at halftime. The Lady Eagles trimmed the margin to 22-21 after 3 periods.

Freshman Anna Kate White tossed in 9 points to lead the East Bladen scoring, and teammate Jayme LeeAnn Frady fired in 8 points. Alexis Lewis added 6 points for the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Eagles, now 2-3 in league play, will travel to Pender next Friday.
