Midway raced to a 22-4 first quarter lead and went on to defeat visiting West Bladen 51-24 Tuesday in Four County Conference jayvee girls’ basketball action.
West Bladen’s Patience Parker tossed in 8 of her team-high 11 points in the second half. Teammate Jerena Purdie tallied 5 points for the Lady Knights, and Indyah Williams followed with 4 points.
The Lady Knights conclude their season Thursday night at East Bladen.
