ST. PAULS – St. Pauls rode a 10-1 second quarter spurt to a 12-5 halftime lead and defeated East Bladen 25-15 Thursday in non-conference jayvee girls basketball action.
Kabarah Moore and Miasha Smith tossed in first period baskets as the Lady Eagles grabbed a 4-2 first quarter lead, but the Lady Bulldogs stretched their lead to 20-8 after 3 periods.
Moore and Shanell McMillian shared scoring honors for East Bladen with 5 points each, and Miasha Smith finished with 3 points.
East Bladen will open Four County Conference play Tuesday night at home against Midway at 4 p.m.
