ST PAULS – Freshman Saniya Baldwin fired in 14 points Friday night to lead St. Pauls to a 35-11 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over East Bladen.
Sophmore Mariah Smith threw in a pair of first quarter baskets, and Lavada Jackson tossed in a basket to keep the Lady Eagles within 10-6 at the quarter break. Baldwin pumped in 8 points in the second period as the St. Pauls lead grew to 22-8 at halftime.
Jackson topped the East Bladen scoring with 7 points, and Smith scored 4 points.
East Bladen, now 3-2 in league play and 4-2 overall, will host East Columbus Tuesday.
