DUBLIN – The West Bladen trio of sophmore Chasitty Lacy and freshmen Lexie Corrothers and Kasee Singletary combined for 50 points Wednesday as they led the Lady Knights to a 62-22 jayvee girls basketball victory over Wallace-Rose Hill.

Corrothers threw in 4 first quarter baskets and a pair of free throws as the Lady Knights raced to a 16-2 first quarter lead. Sophmore Carley Dawson tossed in 2 baskets in the period for West Bladen.

Four different Lady Knights scored in the second period as their lead grew to 24-8. Singletary pumped in a trio of baskets in the third quarter, and Lacy and Kwashera Chapman added 2 baskets each to stretch the West lead to 42-16.

Lacy pumped in a 3-point shot and 4 more baskets to total 12 points in the final quarter. Lacy topped the Lady Knight scoring with 20 points. Corrothers followed with 16 points, and Singletary scored 6 of her 14 points in the final period. Dawson finished with 6 points.

Coach Joe Lewis’ Lady Knights remained unbeaten with a 3-0 Four County Conference record and 9-0 overall mark. West Bladen will travel to Midway Friday night.
