East Bladen High SchoolELIZABETHTOWN – Freshman Jordan Kinlaw pitched a one-hitter and struck out nine batters to lead East Bladen to an 18-0 Three Rivers Conference jayvee softball victory over West Columbus Friday.

Kinlaw only faced 11 batters in the 3-inning, run-rule victory. The tall righthander allowed only a second-inning double and didn’t walk anyone. The only other Lady Viking baserunner reached on a passed third strike.

The Lady Eagles exploded for 15 runs in the first inning. Kinlaw walloped a double and scored a run in the inning. Carlie West, Lila McDuffie and Adrienne Howell belted a single each. Olivia Hollingsworth, Nessiah McKoy, Allyah Gregg and Grey Guy drew 2 walks each in the inning.

Lexie Guy, West, McDuffie, and Howell drew one walk each in the inning.  Hollingsworth, West, McKoy, McDuffie, Howell and Gregg scored two runs each in the Lady Eagle first inning. Lexie Guy, and Grey Guy scored one run each in the first.

West, McKoy and McDuffie all drew walks and scored in the East Bladen second inning.

Kinlaw led the East Bladen hitters with the double. Lexie Guy, West, McDuffie, Howell and Gregg connected for one hit each.

Coach Chase Lancaster’s jayvees will host Fairmont Tuesday at 4 p.m.
