LAKE WACCAMAW – East Columbus scored 8 first-inning runs and went on to defeat West Bladen 16-1 Thursday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee softball action.
West Bladen’s Armani Cowan reached base on a fielder’s choice in the third inning, stole second and third bases and scored when Kaylee Page swatted a single to left field.
Page had the run-scoring single, and Briley Stanley singled for the other West Bladen hit.
