DUBLIN – Fairmont defeated West Bladen 8-6 Wednesday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee softball action.
After Fairmont took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning, the Lady Knights answered with 4 runs in the home first. Taylor West,Ivanay Louis, Katie Guyton and Summer Addington scored the West Bladen runs.
Fairmont scored 3 runs in the third and padded their lead to 8-4 with two runs in the fourth inning. In the home half of the fourth, West belted a single and scored, and Armani Cowan scored the final Lady Knight run.
West Bladen will play Friday at Red Springs.
