FAYETTEVILLE- Freedom Christian swept both ends of a non-conference softball double-header from West Bladen Wednesday by scores of 11-1 and 16-0.
Brinkley Collier, Brittany Landreth and Erica McKoy combined to pitch the first game for West Bladen and were plagued by 12 walks and 3 hit batters while only allowing 2 hits.
Indiyah Williams batted a perfect 2-2 to lead the Lady Knight hitters. Anna Moser hammered a double to drive in Collier with the lone West Bladen run. Landreth and Elizabeth Allbright smacked one hit each for the Lady Knights.
Collier and Landreth handled the West pitching duties in the second game. Freedom capitalized on 7 errors, 6 walks and 5 hits in that game.
McKoy, Williams and Moser belted one hit each in the second game.
The Lady Knights are now 5-3 on the season.
