RED SPRINGS – Red Springs defeated East Bladen 15-1 Tuesday in the Three Rivers Conference junior varsity softball opener for the Lady Eagles.
Pitcher Jenna Stephenson walked and raced home with the only East Bladen run in the third inning when Adrienne Howell walloped a triple. Carlie West cracked a second inning single for the other Lady Eagle hit.
East Bladen will travel to West Columbus Thursday.
