West Bladen High School LogoMeagen Brady pitched 3-hit relief, struck out 9 and walked none to lead West Bladen to a 12-5 non-conference jayvee softball victory at St. Pauls Monday.

Freshman Anna Moser walloped 2 triples to lead the Lady Knight hitters. Sophmore Jerena Purdie also turned in a perfect 2-2 day at the plate for the winners.

Veda Cheshire batted 1-1 for the Lady Knights, and Britany Landreth and Katie Ezzell both finished 1-2 at the plate for the winners.

Freshmen teammates Patience Parker, Brinkley Collier, Indyah Williams and Elizabeth Allbright all contributed one hit each to the Lady Knight attack.

Collier started in the circle for West and pitched the first 2/3rd innings, before Brady came on in relief.

Coach Joe Lewis’ Lady Knights are 1-0 on the season and will host Purnell Swett today (Tuesday) at 5 p.m.
