ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen swept East Columbus 2-0 on Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-18 and 25-21.
Freshman Karli Priest drilled in 13 service points and 5 aces to lead the winners attack. Freshman AnnaGrey Heustess slammed in 5 kills, 2 aces and 5 service points. Cydney Campbell tallied 3 service points.
Anette Munoz fired in 5 service points and 2 aces for the Lady Eagles. Merritt Martin racked up 4 service points and 3 aces. Freshman Meagan Burney hammered in 2 kills. Freshman Emma Turbeville contributed 2 service points.
East Bladen evened their league record at 3-3 and improved to 3-5 overall. The Lady Eagles will host Midway on Monday in a nonconference match.
