East Bladen’s jayvees swept visiting East Columbus 2-0 Monday in non-conference volleyball action by game scores of 25-17 and 25-17.
Sophomore Kaley Smith knocked in 10 service points, 3 aces and a kill, while dishing out 8 assists to lead the Lady Eagles. Team mate Bethany Lesane followed with 6 service points, an ace and an assist.
Dyasia McDowell fired in 5 service points, an ace and a kill for the winners. Freshman Ashley Hardin hammered in 4 kills and another service point, while contributing 2 assists.
Shardajah Brown pounded in 3 service points, 2 kills and an ace for East Bladen. Sarah Johnson tallied 2 service points, and Alexa Hernanaez smacked in a pair of kills.
The Lady Eagle jayvees improved to 3-0 on the season and will entertain St. Pauls Thursday in a 4:30 match.
