East Bladen’s jayvee volleyball team opened the 2015 season with a 2-0 non-conference victory at St. Pauls Tuesday by game scores of 25-17 and 25-16.
Sophmore Shardajah Brown topped the Lady Eagle scoring with 10 service points and 3 aces. Sophmore Hannah DeVane fired in 3 aces, 6 service points and a kill.
Lady Eagle freshman Ashley Hardin knocked in 2 aces, 6 service points and tipped in a winner. Teammate Bethany Lesane added 4 service points and a kill.
Sophmore Kaley Smith and Sarah Johnson tallied 2 service points each for the winners, and Smith and Jozee Strickland smacked in one kill each. Teammate Alexus Hernanaez chipped in a with a service point.
