LAKE WACCAMAW – East Columbus defeated East Bladen 2-0 Tuesday in non-conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-15 and 25-17.
Sophomore Mollie Tolar knocked in 5 service points and 1 attack for the Lady Eagles. Sophomore Mary Frances Sutton racked up 10 attacks and tallied 3 service points. Sophomore Iveonna “NeNe” Ward banged in 5 attacks and a kill.
Zoe Smith smacked in 3 service points for East Bladen. Molly Evans added a service point and an attack, and sophomore Martha Simmons contributed 2 attacks.
The Lady Eagle jayvees, now 2-2, will host South Columbus Monday at 4:30.
