LAKE WACCAMAW – East Columbus defeated West Bladen 2-0 Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-18 and 25-23.

Freshman Khadijah Jones fired in 4 kills and 3 aces to lead the Lady Knights. Freshman Shelby Pharr smacked in 4 kills and 2 aces. Sophmore Jordan Benson drilled in 4 aces.

Alana King knocked in 2 kills, and teammates Madison Cain, Taylor West and Amelia Brisson slammed in one kill each.

“The girls played really well,” said West Bladen Coach Gaye Davis. “I can’t ask anymore than that.”
