Heide Trask rallied to take the final two sets and defeated East Bladen 2-1 Thursday by set scores of 23-25, 25-13 and 25-17 in Four County Conference jayvee volleyball action at East.
Sophomore Kaley Smith blistered the court with 5 aces and 6 service points and was credited with 6 assists for East. Freshman Ashley Hardin dished out 5 assists and knocked in 2 kills, 4 service points and an ace.
Jozee Strickland delivered 7 service points, an ace and a kill for the Lady Eagles. Teammate Bethany Lesane pounded in 4 kills and 5 service points.
Alexa Hernandez slammed in 4 kills, 3 aces and 3 service points for East Bladen. Dyasia McDowell belted in 2 kills, and sophomore Faith Johnson added one kill.
The East Bladen jayvees, now 6-11 on the season, will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Tuesday for a 4:30 match.
