RED SPRINGS – Red Springs rallied in the final two sets to edge West Bladen 2-1 Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-23, 13-25 and 15-8.
Freshman Hannah Pait slammed in 7 kills, an ace and 4 service points. Ashlyn Cox hammered in 5 aces, 3 service points and dished out 4 assists. Freshman Kylee Ward drilled in 7 service points, 2 aces and a kill.
Freshman Lauren Pait keyed the Lady Knight defense with 9 digs and belted in an ace and a kill. Taylor West fired in 4 aces, 2 kills and had 2 digs.
“The Jayvees had a great season,” said West Bladen Coach Gaye Davis. “We saw some improvement.”
